Leo brings to MotiveCast over 20 years of executive leadership experience in the technology industry and an unrelenting focus on innovation which has brought new technologies to market and contributed to industry evolution in areas such as mobility, SaaS (software as a service), and Internet services.

Before co-founding MotiveCast, Leo was CEO of Abaca Technology Corporation, a leading provider of email security solutions.

Prior to Abaca, Leo was Executive Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at @Road. Under Leo's direction, the company gained acclaim as the leading global provider of mobile, location-based services for Fortune 500 companies. He piloted @Road to two consecutive years of record growth and was instrumental in positioning the company for successful acquisition by Trimble.

Leo previously served as Vice President, Product Marketing and Service Operations at WebEx Communications, where he held executive responsibility for all aspects of service creation and delivery. In this role, Leo led tremendous company and customer expansion driving service revenue growth from $10m per year to over $150m per year.

Before joining WebEx, Leo was Vice President of Online Services at Infoseek. While at Infoseek, he led the creation and launch of next generation Internet services at the intersection of content, community and communications leading to the acquisition of Infoseek by Walt Disney Corporation. He also held a variety of executive management and leadership positions across product marketing and business management at Apple Computer and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Renato brings over a decade of experience leading engineering organizations, with proven success inspiring teams to high levels of quality, productivity and innovation. Renato has extensive experience taking to market enterprise software, cloud platforms, commerce and mobile products. He has been involved with startups throughout his career -- driving ideas to market.

Prior to joining MotiveCast, Renato was the Director of Engineering at DigitalGlobe where he was responsible for their Global GeoSpatial Cloud strategy and execution.  During his time there he built the team, built the cloud platform and more than doubled revenue involving the cloud platform.  The cloud platform housed millions of sq/km of high-resolution imagery available globally.  

Renato has been involved in creating software products for over a decade, with experience at DigitalGlobe, Abaca Technology, Hewlett Packard, Mercury Interactive, Borland Software, Scient and Lockheed Martin.

Renato holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA.

Peter brings years of high-pace startup experience to MotiveCast.  His talents run the gamut from implementation to high-level architecture design. He has successfully managed and inspired teams to consistently deliver high quality products.  Peter has helped to bring to market a variety of products including enterprise appliances, carrier grade infrastructure, and cloud platforms.  His deep understanding of technology and perspective help to drive the innovation and creativity of an organization.

Prior to joining MotiveCast, Peter was the Director of Engineering at Abaca Technologies, where he was responsible for all anti-spam technology, including their service provider level anti-spam technology.  Under his leadership, Abaca grew its user-base by orders of magnitude and now protects millions of user mailboxes worldwide.  Abaca offers the most high-performance rating engine on the market, capable of rating billions of messages a day per deployment with extreme accuracy.

Peter holds a B.S in Computer Science from the University of California in Los Angeles and an MBA from San Jose State University in San Jose, California.

Jake comes to MotiveCast after 10 years of console and PC game development experience, with a specialization in Character Animation.

He most recently served as Senior Animator at Crystal Dynamics, a Square Enix Company, where he brought characters to life in Tomb Raider: Underworld, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Legend, and Project Snowblind. Beyond his animation contributions, Jake engaged in many aspects of development including game design, mechanics prototyping, production scheduling, and marketing materials development.

Prior to Crystal Dynamics, Jake filled the role of Animator at Edge of Reality on such titles as Shark Tale, Pitfall: The Lost Expedition, and The Sims.

Jake holds a B.A.S. degree in Digital Visual Media from Ex'pression College.
